A delegation of Turkish educationists Wednesday visited the Government College University (GCU) Lahore and met Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Ikramul Haq. The delegation led by Pak-Turk International Schools and Colleges Regional Director Saadi Yildirir discussed in detail the prospects of strengthen ties between the education. Saadi Yildirir laid a stress on enhancing student-exchange programmes between Pakistan and Turkey.
Recognising the quality of higher education in Turkey, particularly in the field of Botany, Biotechnology and Engineering, the GCU Vice Chancellor expressed his interest in arranging programmes by which Pakistani students could attend leading Turkish universities for their PhD education, collaborative research and training.
