A hoax bomb call resulted in an emergency drill for bomb disposal squad, volunteers of Hilal-e-Ahmar, Edhi, Cheepa and Airport police who rushed to Jinnah International Airport for search and rescue on Tuesday. According to details, a suspicious bag was lying at the main gate of international arrival, which led to suspension of all activities at the airport for sometime.
Later, the rescue teams and bomb disposal squad declared it as hoax call after inspection. However, SP Shah Faisal Javed Maher denied this incident, saying that there was no such incident at the airport.
