MCCI President for steps to end energy crisis

President, Multan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI), Shahid Naseem Khokhar, on Sunday urged the government to take immediate steps for solution the prevailing energy crisis, due to which around 25,000 industrial units in the country have come to a standstill while more then 0.4 million people have become unemployed.
He said that electricity generation from Thar Coal was necessary for ending the prevailing energy crisis. He urged the government to take steps for solution of the energy crisis, which had crippled the industrial production.
