The President of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F), Fazl-ur-Rehman held telephonic talks with Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain and expressed sorrow and grief over killings in recent violence in Karachi. According to a statement issued by MQM here on Friday evening, Fazl-ur-Rehman said that Karachi is heart of the country and killing of any person in the city is sorrowful for all countrymen.
Talking to JUI-F chief, Altaf said Karachiites are peace loving, and terrorists and miscreants are shedding blood of innocent people in the city for last few days. Fazl said his party would provide every possible co-operation to MQM for peace in Karachi.
