The first ever International Conference on "Computer Networks and Information Technology" has started under the auspices of Department of Computer Science, University of Peshawar at Bara Gali Summer campus-II of the university.
Vice Chancellor, University of Peshawar, Dr Azmat Hayat Khan inaugurated the three-day international conference the other day. Dr Hayat highlighted the importance of computer networks and information technology in present era of globalisation and transformation of different types of technologies.
He appreciated the efforts of the organisers for organising the conference. This conference would be helpful for integrating our efforts to develop better ideas for implementing IT policies in the near future, he said. The chairman of the department, Saeed Mehfoz while explaining aims and objectives of the conference said that more than 150 delegates from different countries including UK, France and Egypt are attending the moot.-PR
