Farmers Associates Pakistan (FAP) is organising a seminar to discuss the impact of proposed increase in gas prices and imposition of General Sales Tax (GST) on Fertiliser Industry, on agricultural production and farmer's productivity on July 15, 2011.
The seminar will be presided over by the FAP Chairman and former Federal Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi. Punjab Minister for Agriculture Ahmed Ali Aulakh, and Jahangir Khan Tareen MNA and former Federal Minister will be the chief guests on this occasion, a FAP spokesman said here on Wednesday.
Umer Assad in his keynote address will present the point of view of fertiliser industry. Dr Anjum Ali Buttar, Director General Agriculture Extension Government of Punjab, Dr Tariq Bucha Chief Co-ordinator FAP, Abdul Majeed Nizamani, President Sindh Abadgar Board, Ikram Ullah, President Tobacco Growers Association K.P.K and President Agriculture Chamber Baluchistan will be the speakers of this seminar.
