Independence Day Cup Open Golf Championship 2011 will be held at the Defence Authority Country & Golf Club from July 14 to 17. About 400 golfers including 100 professionals from all over the country are expected to take part in the tournament. Of these 200 golfers will participate in the main match.
The overall total prize money of the tournament is Rs one million. Professionals will share a prize of Rs 900,000 and senior professionals Rs 100,000. Many utility prizes will be given for the main championship and subsidiary matches in the non professional categories.-PR
