Anti Corruption Committee (ACC-1) would decide the fate of a matter against the officials of Hyderabad Development Authority (HDA) and people of a private marketing firm.
Well-placed sources told Business Recorder on Monday that Enquiries and Anti-Corruption Establishment (EACE) would put the matter against the officials of HDA and a private marketing firm in ACC-1 for further inquiry/action.
The team of EACE had conducted an initial inquiry against the officials of HDA and Managing Director of Zuhra International Marketing Company, Gulzar Ghanghro and Director Arab Jatoi on the complaint of local resident of Hyderabad, Abdul Jabbar Siddiqui.
Abdul Jabbar Siddiqui, in his complaint, alleged that he had booked six plots in Gulzar Town with M/s Zuhar International marketing firm through Gulzar Ghanghro and Arab Jatoi during the year of 2007. He further alleged that the said persons had promised possession of plots very soon along-with the sale agreement but after a lapse of about four years, they failed to handover the possession and not made sale agreement as well, sources told.
According to the initial inquiry report, the complainant was called for recording of his statement. He came and fully supported the allegation, which he had made against the said people. Comments were also called from the Director General of HDA but he did not bother to furnish his comments. Gulzar Ghanghro and Arab Jatoi had also been called for the same purpose but they did not come, report added.
The report has recommended that the matter be placed before ACC-1 for seeking permission to hold an open enquiry against concerned officers/officials of HDA and other people of private marketing firm. Sources inside the EACE told Business Recorder that prior authorities would place the matter in ACC-1 and new officer would be assigned regarding inquire of the issue in detail. ACC-1 has the powers to decide any kind of action against any case, which is on the list of ACC-1, sources concluded.
