Jamaat-e-Islami leader, Farid Ahmad Pracha has said the people all over the country would have to intensify pressure on the government for redressing the grievances of the Balochistan.
Addressing a rally in front of Punjab Assembly on Tuesday in connection with the solidarity campaign with the people of Balochistan he said that the JI would observe Balochistan Day all over the country and stage solidarity camps at major cities.
He further said that men and women missing from Balochistan provoking people. He said the government had failed to maintain law and order and check the lawlessness of the official agencies. The people had lost faith in the government due to its incompetence, rampant corruption, and double standard. "Baloch people were deprived of basic human rights, facilities and youth do not have job opportunities which is deepening their sense of deprivation. The Sui gas was not available to the people of the province and its agriculture had ruined due to constant power outages," he added.
