Syed Hasan Javed has taken over charge as the new High Commissioner of Pakistan to Singapore on Wednesday. Syed Hasan Javed has replaced High Commissioner Fauzia M Sana. He is a career diplomat who joined the Foreign Service in 1979. He has served in many countries in various capacities.
Hasan served as High commissioner for Pakistan in Mauritius with concurrent accreditation to Madagascar, Comoros and Seychelles from 2003-2007. Before his nomination as High Commissioner of Pakistan to Singapore, Syed Javed Hasan was performing duties as Additional Secretary (Asia-Pacific) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad.
Syed Javed Hasan on his arrival at the Changi Airport of Singapore was received by the Acting High Commissioner of Pakistan, Singapore. Syed Javed Hasan while speaking to the officers and staff of the High Commission said that Pakistan and Singapore enjoy friendly bilateral relations and hoped that these relations would further strengthen in future.
