Jackson police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested three smugglers and recovered huge quantity of LCDs from their possession. According to police, a team of the investigation department on a tip-off raided a godown located in SITE area and arrested three smugglers namely Khidmat Khan, Nazar Muhammad and Sultan and recovered 274 LCDs from their possession.
The accused say that these LCDs were stolen from Port Qasim and FIR No (171/11) was lodged with Jackson police station. They said the warehouse owner Haji Aslam managed to flee before the police raid. They said these LCDs were booked by Munawar for Afghanistan.
