At least five students got severe injuries in a clash sparked between two students' organisations at the NED Engineering University on Friday. According to Mobina Town police, the students belonging to All Pakistan Muttahida Student Organisation (APMSO) and Islami Jamiat Tulba assaulted each other with sticks and iron rods, leaving five persons in a pool of blood.
Following the said incident, the educational activities remained suspended for two hours. On being informed, the police reached the campus and charged baton and fired tear gas to disperse the charged students. No case was registered till the filing of this report.
