Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore has announced the top position holders of the Annual examination 2011 here Monday. According to the results Larabe Farrukh of Kips High School for Girls got first overall position by securing 1022 marks out of 1050, whereas Saman Habib of LDA Model Girls High School got 1021 marks and stood second.
Taimoor Jaffar Ali of Crescent Model Higher Secondary School (CMHSS) and Arfa Tahir of DPS Girls Model Town shared the third position by getting 1020 marks, each Taimoor Jaffar Ali of CMHSS, Muhammad Faizyab Ali of CMHSS and Muhammad Fareed Khalid of The Punjab School got 1020, 1019 and 1018 marks respectively by securing 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions in the science group among boys.
Larabe Farrukh of Kips High School, Saman Habib of LDA Model High School, and Arfa Tahir of DPS High School got 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions by getting 1022, 1021 and 1020 marks in tthe science group among girls Abdul Rehman and Usman Sadiq of Pakistan Model High School and Muhammad Saif (private ) got 946, 938 and 931 marks respectively by securing 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions in the humanities group among boys.
Bushra Shafiq of the Punjab School for Girls got first position by securing 980 marks, Fatima Ashraf of Farooqi Girls High School got 977 marks and stood second. Rabia Shehzad of Farooqi Girls High School and Sumaira Zia of AV Girls High School of Ittefaq Colony shared the third position by getting 1020 marks each.
Chairman of the Board Professor Dr Mohammad Akram Kashmiri and Controller examination was also present on the occasion. Earlier the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Lahore has postponed the announcement of result of annual examination 2011 due to problems in new computerised system which is going to be announced on July 21.
