Pakistan People's Party (PPP) has claimed on Friday that the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) will rejoin the government before Eid. While the MQM has said that politics of reconciliation will continue. In a Iftar party and dinner at the Chief Minister House, Sindh CM Qaim Ali Shah said that it is the result of the politics of reconciliation that MQM is with us even after it has left the government.
PPP leader Agha Siraj Durrani said that the MQM will rejoin the government before Eid. MQM leader Raza Haroon said that his party will support the government in every positive step. Speaker National Assembly Dr Fahmida Mirza said that it is a wrong concept that anyone is higher than the parliament. No one is higher than the parliament, she added. If any new province is made, it will be made with the consent of the parliament and people of the country, the speaker added.
