The PML-Q women office-bearers and legislators visited various utility stores in the provincial metropolis on Saturday on the directives of the Federal Minister for Industries and Defence Production, Chaudhry Pervez Elahi to get the feedback of consumers about quality and price of different items being sold at these stores.
President PML-Q Punjab Women Wing, Begum Shahana Farooqui, Amna Ulfat, Samina Khawar Hayyat, Majida Zaidi, Dr Samia Amjad, Khadija Umer and Tehrik Yousfi visited utility stores situated in Rehmanpura, Ayubia Market Muslim Town and two stories in different blocks of Allama Iqbal Town. They inspected the quality of the items being sold at these stories besides their prices.
Talking to staff and consumers, the PML-Q women team said that their visit was aimed at improving the quality of items being sold at utility stores besides bringing their prices down. They claimed that their visit would ensure immediate resolution of grievances of the consumers and also helped improving the staff behaviour. Various consumers appreciated the steps taken by Chaudhry Pervez Elahi for provision of quality daily use items on affordable rates to the masses. Some permanent utility store consumers claimed that performance of the stores had improved.
