Boat Basin police and Citizen Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) on Thursday claimed to have recovered an abducted minor boy and arrested the kidnapper in a joint raid from the Cant Station area. According to police, a Boat Basin police party and a Citizen Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) team conducted a joint raid at the Cant Station area and arrested a person namely Ramz Ali along with 7-year-old abducted child Urs son of Mitthal.
They said the victim was kidnapped on March 22, 2011. They said the father of the victim was a labourer living at Shah Rasool Colony. A case No: 131/11 was registered and further investigation was under way.
