State Minister for Defence Production Bahadur Khan Sehar on Thursday said that the federal government has approved various projects of development worth billions of rupees for his constituency to provide basic facilities to the masses. Talking to the media, he said electricity supply projects worth Rs 500 million had been started in the district and the federal government also approved construction of roads in Karoor Lal Hussain to raise the lifestyle of locals.
The state minister said the federal government had provided billions of funds for construction of link roads, bridges, schools and houses after devastating flood, which badly damaged the district last year. He said Provincial Minister for Agriculture Ali Ahmad Aulakh was attempting to take credit for projects being started by the federal government. He said that Ali Ahmad Aulakh was trying to get cheap popularity while these projects had been launched by the federal government after his meeting with Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani.
