A three-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry on Tuesday adjourned hearing of National Bank Employees Welfare Fund scam case for three weeks. During the course of hearing, Hashmat Habib, counsel for the applicants, apprised the bench that FIA had stopped probe into NBP Employees Welfare Fund corruption case.
The chief justice observed that when the court had not issued any stay order then why the investigation had been suspended. The court directed FIA to continue investigation without any delay.
