Parliamentary Secretary for Human Rights, Rubina Saadat Qaimkhani said that terrorism and other issues being faced by the nation today are a gift of dictatorship, and Pakistan People's Party is trying to cope with the issues. Talking to PTV on Wednesday, she said the leadership of PPP is dynamic and is taking major and bold steps for the rights of the people and supremacy of rule of law in the country.
She mentioned the package of Aghaz-e-Haqooq Balochistan, amendment in Frontier Crimes Regulation (FCR), extension of Political Parties Act 2002 up to Fata and restoration of original constitution of 1973.
Rubina said the government has entered fourth year of its tenure successfully and it will be second real democratic government of the country after ZA Bhutto government which will complete its constitutional period, otherwise, military dictators never allowed any political party to complete its constitutional tenure. She also lamented the behaviour of the second major political party of the country, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and said it is not co-operating with the government for resolving the issues of masses.
