Kisan Board Pakistan (KBP) has urged the government to take action against those who have occupied hundreds of thousands of acres of land of pond areas. These were the views of President KBP, Sardar Zafar Hussein, General Secretary, Malik Muhammad Ramzan Rohari. They were talking to delegations of growers from flood-hit areas here on Thursday.
They alleged that hundreds of thousands of acres of land of pond areas were under occupation of land grabbers throughout the country and these influential people in order to save their crops were diverting the water towards the lands of ordinary farmers and growers and because of that they suffer heavy losses.
