Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)'s central secretary information Mushahidullah Khan has said that fresh election was vital to steer the country out of the prevailing crises. Talking to Business Recorder, the PML-N leader alleged the government failed to deliver, saying the present government does not seem serious to resolve the problems being faced by the common man.
He said that the demand of fresh election by party's chief Mian Nawaz Sharif was well thought and the decision to ask for the polls was taken after deliberation with the party leadership. He said if the government was able to deliver a little bit, the PML-N would not demand the polls at a time when the present government is about to complete its four years term. To a question, he said that his party was well-prepared to go into fresh polls, asking the government to hold early elections following its 'failure' to deliver.
"Going into elections was not a problem for the major political parties like PML-N and their homework for the polls is always completed," Mushahidullah Khan said. He, however, made it clear that at the same time the PML-N would not allow any unconstitutional move in a situation, when the government failed in taking the democratic system forward.
