Chief Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Imtiaz Altaf, while addressing a gathering of police officers here on Wednesday at Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lane, has underscored the need for close co-operation between operational and investigation branches of police to maintain peace in the province.
SSP Co-ordination Mohammad Yameen Khan, SSP Operation Ijaz Ahmed, SSP Investigation Waqarud Din, SP Headquarter Umer Riaz, SSPs, DSPs, SHOs and CIOs were participating in the meeting.
The CCPO paid rich tributes to police personnel and people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for giving matchless sacrifices in war against terror. Imtiaz Altaf directed the law enforcers to improve their behaviour with the public and perform their duties with honesty and dedication. He asked Station House Officers (SHOs) to keep strict vigilance on criminal elements and control crime rate in their respective police stations.
