Pakistan Chemicals and Dyes Merchant Association (PCDMA), Haroon Agar has urged the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to restore previous e-filing system to facilitate traders to file sales tax return in time. Agar noted that recently introduced procedure of filing monthly sales tax return is complicated and the business community facing tremendous problems in filing returns.
He said that over 90 percent traders have failed to file monthly tax return due to procedural difficulties. It is the duty of the FBR to facilitate taxpayers and provide them simple procedure to file return rather than creating unnecessary hurdles.
