Scattered rain/thundershowers with isolated heavy falls is expected on Monday. According to Met office, widespread rain/thundershowers with isolated heavy falls is expected from Tuesday to Saturday. Heavy falls may cause flash floods in the local rivers/nullahs of the province, particularly in Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Gujranwala and D G Khan Divisions.
Sindh
Scattered rain/thundershowers are expected in lower Sindh on Monday/Tuesday. Widespread rain/thundershowers with isolated heavy falls is expected from Wednesday to Saturday in most parts of Sindh, including Karachi. Heavy falls may cause severe flooding in the province, particularly in lower Sindh.
Irrigation authorities of Sindh have been advised to reduce the inflows in the canals of Sindh during this week. Close monitoring of LBOD is also advised to avoid possible breaches due to heavy rains in the coming week.
Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa
Widespread rain/thundershowers with isolated heavy falls are expected from Sunday to Thursday. Heavy falls may cause flash floods in local rivers/nullahs of the province.
Balochistan
Scattered rain/thundershowers expected in north-east Balochistan on Monday/ Tuesday. Widespread rain/thundershowers with isolated heavy falls is expected from Wednesday to Friday.
GB-Kashmir
Scattered rain/thundershowers with isolated heavy falls expected in Kashmir on Sunday/ Monday. Widespread rain/thundershowers with isolated heavy falls expected from Tuesday to Saturday. Heavy falls may cause flash flooding in the local rivers/ravines.
Isolated rain/thundershowers expected in Gilgit-Baltistan on Sunday/Monday. Scattered rain/thundershowers with isolated heavy falls expected in Gilgit-Baltistan from Tuesday to Sunday.
Meanwhile Flood Warning Centre Lahore has said that river Sutlej at Ganda Singh Wala and Sulemanki is in 'Low Flood' level. All other major Rivers are flowing 'Below Low Flood' level.
