The Skill Development Council (SDC) on Thursday announced a series of short courses for next three months, aimed at equipping the participants with modern skills. More than dozen short training courses will be conducted during the period as majority of them would be conducted under the Information Technology and Technical head while the rest of courses would be held in management and soft skills.
The important subjects covered are professional accounting training, industrial automation using PLC, graphic, chip and multi-media designing and modern manufacturing techniques. A senior official at SDC told APP that taking notice of current energy crisis in the country, the council also conducted workshop on energy efficient buildings and its efficiency and conservation.
Since incidents of hacking of websites are increasing, the Council will conduct a course on ethical hacking and counter measures to address this problem. The official said during coming week, the Council has arranged a course, which would be beneficial for people seeking career as professional accountant, especially accounting students and practising accountants. On completion of successful undertaking of 10-day training, the trainee will be able to maintain complete set of accounts of any organisation.
