The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country increased to $17,202.5 million on October 14, 2011 from $17,171.9 million on October 08, 2011. According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the foreign reserves held by SBP increased to $13,462.1 million from $13, 460.6 million. The net foreign reserves held by banks (other than SBP) increased to $3,740.4 million from $3,711.3 million.
