The 7th extraordinary security committee meeting of Iran and Pakistan commenced on Saturday in Tehran. Headed by the two countries' senior Interior Ministry officials for security and police affairs, it is due to cover issues such as expansion of security and police co-operation, fighting with terrorism, organised crimes, drug trafficking, abduction, villainy, smuggling of weapons, munitions, human trafficking, illegal immigration, IRNA news agency reported.
Pakistan delegation is composed of Deputy for Security Affairs Seddiq Akbar, General Warden of Balochistan, Rao Amin Hashem from Balochistan, Nasibollah Khanbaza'ei Saeed Ahmad, and Interior Ministry Director General for Political Affairs and Director General for Pakistan National Assembly for Crises Management Brigadier General Javed Iqbal Lodhi. The delegation which arrived in Tehran on Friday is scheduled to meet Interior Minister Mostafa Najjar to sign an agreement, according to IRNA news agency.
