The Balochistan Assembly was adjourned by the chair due to lack of quorum on Saturday. The assembly session started with Deputy Speaker Syed Matiullah Agha in chair. MPA Ghulam Jan Baloch drew the attention of the chair to lack of quorum and resultantly, he asked for ringing bells for five minutes for quorum.
When the house met again, the secretary assembly after counting told the acting speaker there were only 12 legislatures in the House. The acting speaker gave ruling that only 12 lawmakers out of total 65 of the Balochistan Assembly attended the assembly sitting. He regretted that members of the provincial assembly had adopted very non-serious behaviour in respect of attending assembly sessions. Later, he adjourned the House till October 25.
