About 100 member of civil society on Monday staged a demonstration to condemn the assassination of Libyan President, Muammar Gaddafi and attack of Nato forces on Libya, describing it an aggression against smaller states. They burnt the flag of United States and Nato to express their anger.
The demo was led by Tariq Naeem-ullah Khan, President of United Citizen Front (UCF). The participants were carrying placards inscribed with slogans, "US is the killer of Shah Faisal, Saddam Hussain, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, Hafiz-Al-Asad, Yasser Arafat and Now Muammar Gaddafi." They said that Colonel Gaddafi's death is an eye-opener for other Muslim states like Kuwait, Syria, Jordon, UAE and Egypt, "UNO, Nato, USA are the assassinators of Muslims, why they attacked Libya and killed Colonel Gaddafi, they questioned."
