Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is all set to resume its anti-government drive from Wednesday (today) after observing three-day mourning over the death of Begum Nusrat Bhutto. In connection with the drive, Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif will address a "Go Zardari Go" rally in Lahore on Friday.
The party has turned down a call by PPP, which is observing 10-day mourning over the death of Begum Bhutto, to shun anti-government activities during the mourning "How regretful was Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza's criticism of PML-N leadership, who despite receiving the news of the death of his party's former chairperson did not refrain from criticising the PML-N leadership," said PML-N's central secretary information Senator Mushahidullah Khan in response to Prime Minister's remarks he made on the occasion of release of Chaudhry Moonis Elahi.
The prime minister visited the Chaudhrys to felicitate them over the release of Moonis Elahi the day when Nusrat Bhutto passed away in Dubai. Referring to PML-N's October 28 "Go Zardari Go" rally, Mushahidullah said that it would be held as per the schedule.
