This is to clarify that no illegal incorrect billing to CNG Sector was carried out by SNGPL during August, 2011. The rates for CNG Sector were revised by the Government of Pakistan with effect from 7th August, 2011. SNGPL has prepared the bills on old rates for the period upto 6th August, 2011, thereafter from 7th August, 2011 the new rates were applied to calculate the bills.
Hence, no excessive charges were calculated and included or recovered in the bills. The reply has been sent to Central Chairman, All Pakistan CNG Association vide Company's letter No GMB 102 (3213) dated 19th October, 2011, as well as to OGRA to clarify the above position.
