In the IInd Amar Cables T20 Veteran Cricket Tournament, Gulberg Gymkhana beat Chaudhry Sports by 2 wickets and has qualified for the semi-final at Model Town Green Cricket Ground. Batting first, Chaudhry Sports scored 126 for 8 in 20 over. Shahid Ali 37, Chaudhry Shafqat 31 and Najm-ul-Islam scored 21 runs. Khalid Habib 2/11, Naveed Sofi 2/32, Afzal Munir 2/34, Amer Waseem 1/21 and Azhar Hussain 1/21 were wicket takers for Gulberg Gymkhana.
Gulberg Gymkhana in 19.4 achieved the target. They scored 129 for 8. Khalid Habib 43, Afzal Munir 16 and Muhammad Amer 29 were batsmen. Muhammad Sami 4/25 and Hafiz Bilal 1/17 wickets were main wicket taker for the losers. Amar Cables CEO Amer Ilyas Butt gave away man of the match award to Muhammad Amer and Muhammad Sami.
