Former general secretary PPP Punjab, Chaudhry Ghulam Abbas has denied his contacts with Imran Khan for joining Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI). Addressing a press conference at Lahore Press Club, the PPP Punjab stalwart said he has also filed a suit for damages to the newspaper having published report regarding his switching over to the PTI.
Talking to Business Recorder, he clarified that the party has not issued any show cause notice to him and instead he himself took it seriously and explained the situation. Chaudhry Ghulam Abbas also criticised both Imran Khan and Nawaz Sharif and termed them two sides of the same coin.
He said both of them are the 'front-men' of establishment. Commenting on the resignation of former foreign minister, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, he said it would not damage the party strength and Qureshi would soon be exposed by joining the 'king's party'.
