A former provincial president of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Asad Qaisar, said here on Tuesday that the PTI is sole political party to pull the country out of the prevailing situation, and added that all political parties are expressing displeasure over the poor performance the ruling PPP-led coalition government.
Addressing a press conference at Peshawar Press Club after joining PTI of a large number of PPP stalwarts here, he stressed the need of radical steps to overcome the present situation in the country. Asad said that PTI chairman Imran Khan is considered real person for bringing new dawn and change the destiny of the distressed people. He said that when the PTI would take over, it will introduce uniform education system, provision of health facilities, and discourage VIP culture in the country, and especially remove the sense of deprivation among tribal people.
Asad, who is also member of organising committee, said that joining PTI of PPP activists clearly reflected that people were not happy with performance of present coalition government. He added that people are looking to PTI chairman Imran Khan as real person to give them new hope and destiny.
Owing to wrong policies of incumbent government, he observed, the national institutions are facing severe financial crunch. He said that the rulers were helpless to tackle with the situation, but busy to get commission. He criticised that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government for breaking all records of corruption in the province, saying that the youth were wandering for search of jobs. He maintained that the jobs are "on sale" and prices gradually soar like daily use items.
The PTI activist said that the government had given least attention towards problems facing poor and poverty-stricken people and is plundering national exchequer with both hands. He asked the people to bring revolution through power of vote in order to get rid from the corrupt rulers.
He also announced that the PTI will organise rally in Peshawar after Karachi. On the occasion, PPP activists from different union councils of PF-8 constituency announced joining PTI. Prominent among them were Zahid Hussain, Zafar Khattak, Ishtiaq Bacha, Saeed Israr Bacha, Suriya Shahab, Naseem Bibi, and Dr Fazal Dad.
