Sindh Law Department has notified on Thursday that on the recommendation of the Departmental Promotion Committee/ Provincial Selection Board for Judicial Officers and with the approval of the Competent Authority (Chief Minister Sindh) following Additional District and Sessions Judges (BS-20) in order of their seniority have been promoted as District and Session Judges (BS-21).
Aftab Ahmed Bughio, Hafiza Usman, Mrs Roomana Siddiqui, Khalid Mehmood Bhatti, Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah, Munawar Sultana Bhatti, Hyder Ali Abro, Inayatullah Memon, Muhammad Azeem, Mir Safdar Hussain Talpur, Ahmed Luqman Memon, Munir Ahmed Shaikh, Ghulam Rasool, Tasneem Sultana and Javed Ahmed Keerio are among them.
However, Mrs Munawar Sultana Bhatti, who was retired on 10 November 2011, shall be deemed to be promoted with effect from the date of recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee/Provincial Selection Board for Judicial Officers of High Court of Sindh, viz, 02 November 2011 for the purpose of financial benefits. All the other Judicial Officers will be on probation for a period of two years, as prescribed under the rule 9 of the Sindh Judicial Services Rules, 1994.
