Pakistan Post has issued a Commemorative Postage Stamp of Rs 8/-denomination on the 150th Anniversary of ST Patrick's High School, Karachi. According to a handout issued on Friday, the Commemorative Postage Stamps are available for sale from 31st December, 2011 at all the important Post Offices in Pakistan.
The first day of issue cover and leaflet priced at Rs 5/- and Rs 10/- each respectively are also brought out. The price of the first day of issue covers and leaflet will be recovered in cash in addition to the above, the stamps required to be affixed on the first day of issue covers (without stamps).
The leaflet may not be put on sale before the date of actual release of the Commemorative Postage Stamp. A special postmark will be used to service the first day of issue cover at the Philatelic Bureau, Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Bahawalpupr, Khairpur, Faisalabad, Hyderabad, Rawalpindi, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Sargodha, Peshawar, Post Mail Gulbarg Lahore, Quetta GPOs and National Philatelic Bureau, Islamabad.-PR
