Social Welfare department has organised a seminar on "mother-child health and awareness on dengue" here on Tuesday, at Lyton road. Rai Javed Iqbal Director Planning and Development Population Welfare Department, Punjab was the chief guest. Dr Zareen Fatima, Mian Ateeq-ur-Rehman and Dr N. A. Kamran highlighted the measures which can be helpful for a mother and child.
Speakers also stressed on cleanliness to avoid any dengue vector in and around their houses. They advised that precautionary measures should be adopted to tackle dengue epidemic.
