In view of strengthening friendly relations with the neighbouring country, some 180 Indians, who had mistakenly entered Pakistani territory, were released from Malir jail on Saturday. According to official sources, Pakistan has shown keenness to strengthen bilateral relations and believes to resolve every issue on the table and not at battlefield.
Therefore, out of total 542 Indian detainees, Islamabad issued release order of 180 Indians, who will be returned to their country from Wagah border. They said that 179 Indians were fishermen while rest of the detainees had mistakenly crossed into Pakistan's territory. Meanwhile, representative of Pakistan Fisher Folk Forum, Sami Memon, urged the Indian authorities to show reciprocal gesture and release 42 detained fishermen and 61 others, who went missing into Indian territory.
