Fire at PHDEC HO: body set up to probe incident

Pakistan Horticulture Development and Export Company (PHDEC) has constituted a committee to investigate in to the reason of incident of fire in its head office situated in the provincial metropolis. According to the Company sources a fire broke out in the PHDEC head office some days back due to which it suffered a loss of Rs 6 to 7 million.
The fire turned the whole infrastructure in to ashes; however, staff and the record remained safe. Staff of Rescue 1122 was informed, which extinguished the fire. Staff remained safe as the incident occurred late in night when only few members from the accounts department were busy in some necessary work.
