The expatriate Pakistani writers and intellectuals are not only real ambassadors of the country but also spreading message of love and affection in the entire world. They are also making untiring efforts in promoting patriotism and soft image of the country through their writings.
These views were expressed by Florida-based renowned Kashmiri writer, intellectual and international award winning poet, Sabir Hussain Sabir, while speaking as chief guest at a reception hosted by Literary Organisation "Dhandhara" here at Anjuman Faiz ul Islam, Faizabad Campus on Saturday. General Secretary, Anjuman Faiz-ul-Islam, Raja Fateh Khan, Leader of All Kashmir Sudhan Educational Conference and former Commissioner, Sardar Muhammd Rafiq Khan, former Director Agriculture, Sardar Muahmmad Sarwar Khan also attended the reception.
Sabir Hussain Sabir, currently living in the US State, Florida, is on a month long visit to Pakistan, informed that these days he was writing a book on the history, culture and personalities of Sadozai tribe and its English version "A string of the Sadozais Pearls" would be published from New York, while its Urdu edition would be published from Pakistan.
In addition to this book, a collection of his essays "Ganjina-e-Afkar", collections of Urdu poetry " Dashat-e-Tanhai" and "Hijr key Baad" and a collection of English poetry "Look out" have already published and were very warmly appreciated by the literary circles. He said that the US government had given him citizenship and cash awards for his English poetry published in 2001.
Sabir Hussain Sabir said that he was working for the promotion of Urdu language from the platform of "Awan-e-Urdu" in Florida (USA), adding, in this he acknowledged the services of Zulfiqar Agha, Dr Qaiser Abbass, Dr Arif Zaheer, Salahuddin Siddiqui, Dr Hafeez Qazi and Ahmed Tanha. Meanwhile, Sabir Hussain Sabir held a meeting with President, Anjuman Faiz ul Islam, Mian Siddique Akbar and orphan children living in "Apna Ghar". He lauded Mian Siddique Akbar for his social and welfare services for the Anjuman.
