Following the successful launch of Naya Nazimabad, a balloting ceremony for allocation of plots for block A, C and D was held at the Naya Nazimabad site here on Sunday. Naya Nazimabad is designed to provide secure and affordable housing for the progressive middle income class. It offers residential units, along with a wide range of amenities, ie schools, colleges and university, hospitals and clinics, parks and shopping malls, etc.
The project spans a vast area and is located close to North Nazimabad. Speaking on the occasion, Arif Habib, Chairman, Arif Habib Group said, "It gives us immense pleasure to inform you that the full quota of plots has been booked and we are still receiving applications. We owe this success to the people of Karachi and our friends and associates who placed their trust and confidence in us."
Also present on the occasion were Naya Nazimabad senior management and partners, customers and other stakeholders. The project's residential zone is based on constructed single-unit and double storey houses and plots measuring 120, 160 and 240 square yards. Booking of houses is 100 percent complete and is now closed.
Other than premier amenities, the Naya Nazimabad project will have a water management system based on overhead water tanks and an efficient sewerage management system. Residents will be facilitated by an internal transport grid and security would be ensured through gates, staffing and close circuit security cameras. An international standard cricket stadium is also on the verge of completion.
