Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Muhammad Mukhtar said on Monday the university was planning to launch new courses at diploma, graduation and master level in the perspective of human rights and civic education besides organising a national conference on the topic of human rights with the co-ordination of HEC.
Addressing the audience of an exclusive seminar organised jointly by Fazaldad Institute of Human Rights (FDIHR) and Higher Education Commission (HEC), Mukhtar said that academic excellence could only be achieved through sincere efforts of faculty members both in academic and research fields.
