2.2 magnitude earthquake hits Karachi

A 2.2 magnitude of earthquake hit Karachi on Thursday night, causing panic in public, the met office said. Talking to Business Recorder, the meteorologist of met office said the quake was a minor seismic activity of 2.2 magnitude with 10 kilometer depth.
"It was a normal sort of earthquake which epicenter was near DHA and Qayomabad areas of the metropolis," he said. However, no casualties were reported till the filing of report.
