Female students of Bahauddin Zakariya University living in Maryam and Ayesha hostels have expressed concern over substandard meal at canteens. Hundreds of girls protested against the sale of substandard meal and also set up a hunger strike camp. The students demanded the university administration to take notice of their complaint. Vice-Chancellor Dr Khawaja Alqama, taking notice of the protest, has ordered an inquiry into the matter.
