The grain and seed market opened on a positive note on Monday, though the changes were few and far but the magnitude was quite good, dealers said. On cereal side prices of barley both in Sindh and Mardan were higher by Rs 50 at Rs 3650, guwar in Sindh and Punjab dained Rs 400 at Rs 9700-9800. On the rice sector Irri Sindh also performed sell and registered a rise of Rs 30, for both the qualities at Rs 3000-3100. Khandsari was quoted at Rs 6000.
On seed counter cottonseed oilcake Sindh was registered lower at Rs 550-600, they added.
