The staff of Drug Enforcement Cell (DEC) of Preventive Collectorate on Wednesday claimed to have seized fine quality of heroin weighted 500 grams at International Mail Office (Exports) located behind GPO, I.I Chundrigar Road, Karachi. According to statement issued by Pakistan Custom, the staff of DEC recovered 500 grams of heroin powder concealed in the packets of Mehndi destined for UK.
The parcel comprised of 100 packets out of which 08 packets contained brown heroin powder. The case in this regard has been lodged and further investigation was underway.-PR
