PIAREA demands raise in pensions

Pakistan International Airlines Retired Employees Association (PIAREA) has demanded a raise in the pensions of retired employees of the airline from the current 32 percent to 50 percent, "as per rules".
Speaking at the second annual gathering of the Association, President PIAREA, Tahir Hasan said that pensions of retired employees were required to be increased every year in line with the salary increase of regular employees according to the admin order of the airline. According to him, all retired employees of PIA are available for any service to PIA to help the airline come out of its present crisis.
