The lawmakers of the Balochistan Assembly on Tuesday passed a resolution demanding of the Federal and Sindh governments to ensure arrest of killers of MPA Mir Bakhtiar Khan Domki's wife, his daughter and their driver. Speaker Muhammad Aslam Bhootani chaired the assembly session.
Pakistan Muslim League-Q MPA Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhel moved the resolution which said that this house strongly condemned murder of Mir Domki's wife, daughter and their driver in Karachi last night. It urged the Federal Government and demanded of the Sindh government to ensure arrest of killers of Mir Bakhtiar Domki's family besides bringing the assailants to justice.
Delivering his speech, the mover said that attacking women was not part of any tradition across the world. Minister for S and GAD and Pakistan Muslim League-N leader Sardar Sanaullah Zehri said that Baloch people hate attacking the women and children. Minister for Industries and Balochistan National Party-Awami leader Syed Ahsan Shah said that it never remained part of Balochi traditions to attack women and children.
Minister for Local Government and JUI-N leader Abdul Khaliq Bashar Dost, Minister for Education Mir Nasir Jamali, Minister for Sports Mir Shahnawaz Marri, Minister for Youths Captain Abdul Khaliq (Retd), Minister Basant Lal and legislators Ghulam Jan Baloch and Mir Amanullah Notezai also flayed the killing of Mir Domki's family members.
They demanded of the Sindh government to investigate the incident besides arresting the killers. The Speaker Bhootani put the resolution to the House which passed it unanimously.Later, after completion of other assembly proceedings, the chair adjourned the House until February 3.
