The Lahore High Court on Friday told the police that there was no reason to block the main road, which caused a patient's death. The court passed these directions in a petition filed against the death of a patient, Salema Bibi, who died due to blockade of road allegedly caused by doctors' strike. The court adjourned the proceedings to March 02 for further hearing. Earlier, the police officials CCPO SP city and DCO appeared before the court.
The petition was filed by a bar member, Mian Asad, praying to the court to direct the respondent officials to register a criminal case against the officials who are responsible for blockade of road.
