Annual Mehfil-e-Milad was held at Nursing School, Lahore General Hospital, here on Sunday. A large number of nurse students attended the Mehfil-e-Milad and recited Naat and Darood-o-Salam to pay tribute Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). The students decorated the hostel very tastefully with colourful lights and green flags.
Principal Nursing School, LGH Ishrat Ishaque on the occasion said that the students deserved applause, who had organised the Mehfil.
She said that the ethical training along with professional teaching was processed at nursing school. She further said that Asma Kanwal, a nurse student, sacrificed life while serving the dengue patients is a glorious example of nursing traditions. Mehfil-e-Milad ended with special prayer for the eternal rest of departed soul of Asma Kanwal and for the progress of the country and safety from dengue virus.
The Principal nursing school appreciated the talent of students - Rehana Perveen, Saima Batool, Farhat Shamshad, Zubia Amin, Zanif Aslam, Abida Naz, Sana shahzadi and Saba Waris who offered Naat and Darood-o-Salam.
